Supplemental Health Insurance

Long term Care - as we get older there is sometimes a need for long-term care such as nursing homes which is not covered by Medicare.  Medicaid does cover nursing homes, however there are very specific financial requirements that must be met before they will pay and it varies by state.    Many people use this to help protect their legacy, 

Hospital Indemnity - Usually pays a set amount for covered/illness or accident where hospitalipzation is required and pays based on the selected plan.  It pays in a lump sum and is sent to the policy ownder not the hospital so you can decide what to use it for.  It is not the medical insurance that is provided by employers or by the Afordable Care Act.  This is a supplemental policy.

Critical Illness - (Cancer, Heart Attack & Stroke) - is a policy that pays when the insured is diagnosed with cancer, heart attack or stroke.    It pays the policy holder directly. 

Accidental Death and Dismemberment - This policy pays when the insured is killed in an accident or has dismemberment eg.  Lose an arm or a leg in an accident.  It pays the policy holder directly

Mecidare Advantage & Medicare Supplements - Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement Plans (also known as Medi-gap) are also available.  We will be happy to walk you through the various options.
